AsaVea 2” Flat Iron Review

Last update: Aug 18, 2017 08:45, Alice

*In this post we’ve reviewed AsaVea flat iron. AsaVea has a wide range of different straightening tools:

I have purchased this flat iron not long ago and it is far from my previous one. The plates heats up quickly and evenly, without noticeable hot or cool spots. You can easily adjust temperature for any hair types without damaging it. When I used it, it does so well and it keeps my hair from frying. It gives me a straighter hair and shiny too. I didn’t observe any depicts after a week of using this hair tool for I did follow its attached manual on safety guidelines. I would definitely recommend this item to my family and friends!

AsaVea Flat Iron properties:

  • 1,5 minutes for max power
  • 360-degrees rotate wire
  • 2-inch-wide floating ceramic plate
  • Lightweight, 2 pounds
  • 10 heating levels: 266-445F
  • Low price <$40 Check the price

I naturally have thick, big hair – pretty much an afro.  I don’t dislike my natural hair but sometimes I want it straight so that I can style it differently.  I’ve always struggled to find a straightener that can cope with my hair type without burning it, so I’ve been keeping my eyes peeled for quite some time for a straightening that’s effective without being too expensive and treats my hair kindly.
When I came across the AsaVea flat iron I was actually astounded at how positive the reviews were as a whole, with people with my hair type saying that it’s the best straightener they’ve ever used. Needless to say, I went ahead and purchased the AsaVea to try it out for myself – it was just a bonus that it was on sale! I can say that I ordered this brush based on the reviews that I read and now I think this brush deserves my contribution.

First Impressions

It arrived in an attractive looking box. The rose gold flat iron looked very glamorous and I just couldn’t wait to see if it worked as good as it looked.

I didn’t waste any time, I know what temperatures my hair needs in order to be straightened properly so on the first time I used it I set it straight to the max temperature.  There’s an indicator light which shows when the device is on.  After plugging in and powering on the AsaVea flat iron, it was ready to use within 90 seconds – no mucking around with the tool! The wide floating ceramic plates clamp my hair in a way that feels comfortable without pulling on a single strand.  My hair looks smooth and sleek and I’ve finished using my AsaVea straightener. I must add that it is quite big to hold in your hands, especially if you have quite small hands like me, but I don’t mind because smaller straighteners seem to take me forever to get the same job done some it’s definitely something I can manage!

The temperature recommendations for different hair types are as follows:

265-300°F for delicate or fine hair

300-380°F for normal hair, and

380-445°F for thick, coarse, or natural hair

  • 2” wide plates for heating more hair at a time making the procedure faster.
  • Advanced infared technology which warms the hair follicles without burning or singing them. It makes straightening as kind as it possibly can be, causing less damage than other devices without this technology.
  • Heats to the max temperature in 90 seconds.
  • 10 different temperature settings from 266-445°F
  • Plates are made of ceramic tourmaline which heats evenly and treats the hair with care.
  • Advanced micropressor ensures consistent temperatures while styling
  • Automatic shut-off
  • LCD display
  • 360° Swivel cord

In Conclusion

I have tried several different flat irons over the years from various manufacturers and I can truly say that none can compare to this. I am so pleased I went ahead and got the AsaVea flat Iron, it’s one of the best purchases I’ve ever made.  It works amazingly. This is a flat iron that’s actually worth your money.

  1. Is this flat iron comfortable to use and hold?

    1. Trina

It is easy to hold, I have pretty small hands so I was concerned buying a two-inch plate could be too chunky for me and rather difficult to use but it wasn’t the case. I read plenty of reviews on this product before making the purchase and decided to try it out for myself and I am happy that I took the chance! I usually spend much more on appliances which provide the same result to my hair; soft, shiny, smooth hair and most importantly frizz-free.

  2. I plugged it in and it never got hot and there is no where to adjust temp tried several plugs to make sure it was getting power
Guess it’s going back through prime????

    1. That’s unfortunate Ann. Sorry to hear about that your brush had this problem. It must be a faulty tool. The supplier should provide you with a replacement.
